Nationwide Security Plus offers 24-hour services in Manned Guarding and Protection Support to NHS Hospitals, Private Hospitals, Nursing and Residential Homes, Doctor Surgery’ and Clinics. Our Guards are SIA Licensed and fully trained, holding additional training certificates in First Aid, Health & Safety and Fire to ensure competency in a healthcare setting.

Sudden occurrences of violent behaviour by visitors and patients is common in A&E and Psychiatric units, however these occurrences can happen anywhere at any time. Our Guards are trained to respond and manage situations in a calm and effective manner, maintaining professionalism at all time. To ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors, the security guards’ role can include, but not limited to:

CCTV monitoring
Scheduled and random patrols of the grounds
Assist or respond to ward staff or receptionists in challenging situations
Assist other staff on site to maintain safety as required – escorting staff in/out
Management of keys and security credentials
Locking and unlocking areas or access points
Guard and patrol car park
Deterring criminal activity or antisocial behaviour
Providing incident reports and reporting suspicious activity
